The Mini Gel Tank is compatible with all Bolt, NuPAGE and Novex mini gels and can accommodate up to two gels per run. Our unique Mini Gel Tank is designed for increased usability so you can run a variety of gel types. Invitrogen mini gels are available with up to 15 sample wells and Invitrogen midi gels are available with up to 26 sample wells. The choice of mini of midi tank depends on your sample throughput needs. Novex Tricine Gels are available in a mini gel format and are designed for the separation of low molecular weight proteins and peptides. Tris-acetate gel chemistry, offered by Invitrogen NuPAGE Tris-Acetate Gels, is recommended for the separation of high molecular weight proteins up to 500 kDa. To separate high-abundance proteins, select our robust Invitrogen Novex Tris-Glycine Mini Gels or Novex Tris-Glycine Plus Midi Gels, which offer maximum protein separation and crisp, straight bands. Our Invitrogen Bolt Bis-Tris Plus Mini Gels build on the legacy of the highly referenced Invitrogen NuPAGE Bis-Tris Gels and have a wedge-shaped sample well for loading up to 2X greater sample volumes. Select Bis-Tris gel chemistry for low abundance target proteins or when downstream applications require high protein integrity, such as posttranslational modification analysis, mass spectrometry, or sequencing.
